Coaches

Our coaches are volunteers and receive no monetary benefit. The coaching staff spends countless hours during the season (on and off the track) to provide a quality experience for athletes of all abilities and ages. Many of our coaches also coach high school track teams in Loudoun County.

    Track & Field Athletic Experience
    At age 47, Coach Casale continues to compete at local, regional and national meets. He is currently nationally ranked in his age group for all the jumping events (high jump, long jump, pole vault, and triple jump). Among his athletic achievements:

  • US National Champion (Pole Vault)
  • Two-time All-American (Pole Vault)
  • NCAA Division I scholarship athlete in men’s track & field (ASU)
  • All-Southern Conference selection (3x indoors and 3x outdoors, NCAA Div. I)


  • Brian Fletcher – Assistant Coach (hurdles, sprints)

    Track & Field Athletic Experience
    Coach Fletcher continues to compete at meets in the Washington DC area in the Men’s Open 110 High Hurdles. Among his athletic achievements:

  • Finalist in Virginia High School AAA State Championships (110 High Hurdles)
  • Advanced to Districts & Regionals all 4 years of high school.
  • Events ran in high school (110 high hurdles, 300 hurdles, 4x400 relay)

  • Eighth grade English teacher at Farmwell Station Middle School, Ashburn VA

    Track & Field Athletic Experience
    Coach Read was an exceptional athlete in all the throwing events and also represented the United States at many international track meets. Among her athletic achievements:

  • Shot put and discus record holder - Broad Run High School (1995-present)
  • The Washington Post's High School Athlete of the Week (1995)
  • Atlantic-10 Conference Champion—javelin (1997)
  • Four-year varsity letterman at Virginia Tech and member of four-time Atlantic-10 Conference Championship Women's Track and Field teams (1995-1999)
