Program
WHO MAY PARTICIPATE?Any girl or boy resident of Loudoun County Virginia between the ages of 6 and 18. Birth dates must be between January 1, 1990, and December 31, 2002, in order to participate in the 2008 season.
Although there is no planned program for high school students (since they have coaching available through school), high school students may still join the club at a reduced rate and be able to compete in the Junior Olympics after their high school season has ended.

Members must first obtain a USATF membership number at a cost of $19.95 for each athlete. The 2008 Outdoor season cost for club registration is $55 for youth athletes and $55 for high school athletes. The maximum per family is $150 (not including USATF online fees). Fees are waived for families with financial difficulty.

The USATF fee and Club Membership fee covers the following:
- 2008 Membership in USATF
- 2008 Membership in the Loudoun Track & Field Club
- Ability to compete in all LTFC events & practices.
- Loudoun Track & Field Club uniform.
HOW CAN I HELP OUT?
Our goal is to have at least 40 children participate in the track program this year and we need :
- Coaches (sprints, middle and long distance)
- Assistant coaches (all events)
- Timers
- Equipment maintenance assistance
- Practice assistants (track moms, dads and grandparents)
- Track meet results compilation
Previous experience in coaching track is appreciated but is not a requirement. Assistant coaches and practice assistants will be provided with written sample workout information they may use to help structure practice sessions.
