January 28, 2007Congratulations to Natalie Baird and Coach Casale for their performances at today's indoor meet. Natalie qualified for the Nike Indoor Nationals in the Weight Throw (32 feet, 4 inches). Coach Casale cleared 12 feet, 6 inches in the Pole Vault (exceeding the All American Standard of 12-4 for his age division).

Congratulations to Natalie Baird and Nick Um for outstanding performances at today's indoor meet. Natalie qualified for the Nike Indoor Nationals in the Shot Put (39 feet, 8 inches) and Nick had a personal best in the Triple Jump (36 feet, 9.5 inches).

Congratulations to Coach Casale who won the Masters Pole Vault (M45-49) with a jump of 13 feet 6 inches (new meet record) at the Sportsplex Masters Indoor Championships.
December 2005 Our first High School Indoor Season started off with a bang. We have 95 area high school athletes and 10 area High School Track Coaches on staff.

Jahlil Northover competed against 49 national qualifiers in the 800M run and placed 26th with a time of 3:01.18. Congratulations to Jahlil!
July 8-10 (Region 3 Junior Olympic Championships)
Five of our athletes qualified for this meet. Jahlil Northover, Kayla Hennesey, and Joey Monfort represented our team well. Although Tommy Royer and Mary Casale qualified, they elected not to go to the meet. Congratulations to the following athletes and their performances:

Natalie Baird (9th grade) broke the Virginia High School AA State Discus Record with a throw of 139’ 11" and became the Virginia AA State Champion.

Natalie Baird (9th grade) broke the Park View High School discus record on April 13th with a throw of 129’ 0”.
USA Track & Field selected Coach Casale as All American for 2005 in the Pole Vault (M45-49).

Coach Casale pole vaulted in the 2005 USATF Masters Indoor Track & Field National Championships in Boise, ID March 11-13, 2005. He won the event with a height of 12’ 11 ½” as the National Champion in the M45-49 Division.

Coach Casale competed in the USATF-PVA Sportsplex Masters Indoor Track & Field Championships Feb 20, 2005 in Landover. He placed 1st in the Pole Vault with a meet record jump of 13’0’’. He also placed 1st in the triple jump and 2nd in both the long jump and high jump.
